I have been transcribing letters for over 20 years, and can provide expert, accurate and speedy transcriptions of your old letters.
This service is of great benefit to:
1) Sellers ofstampless covers with letter contents, or stamped covers with letters -you can realize higher prices by including a transcription of the letter contents, but don\'t have the time to transcribe the often difficult to read letters.
2) Collectors who have old letters and would like to have a transcription to accompany their letters.
3) People who have their old family letters or correspondencesand would like to have them transcribed.
Here is how my service works:
1) The price is $6.00 per page.If there are just a few lines on the last page of a letter, there is nocharge for transcribing that portion.
2) The letters must be writtenin English, and can be from any date, except the old English of the 1600\'s and earlier.
3) Payment is required in advance, and is calculated by the number of pages (for example, if your letter is 3 pages, purchase 3 at $6.00 each, for a total of $18.00). If you wish, you can send mean message first, witha description of what you have to transcribe, or with any questions you may have. After payment, send me clear, high resolution scans of the letter, and I will then email the transcriptions to you, as I complete each one.
Or, if you can\'t provide scans,you can mailyour letter or letters to me, with tracking. I will then email the transcriptions to you as I complete each one. When I finish transcribing all of your letters, I will send them back to you, with tracking.
My service is speedy - I will complete transcribing within a day or twoafter receiving the letter or letters from you, and often they are completed on the same day as received .
IF YOU SEND THE ACTUAL LETTER(S) RATHER THAN SCANS, THERE WILL BE A SHIPPING CHARGETO RETURN YOUR LETTER(S).The shipping charge isnot for sending the transcription - it is for returning your letter or letters if you choose to mail them rather than send scans. If it can fit in a #10 envelope, I will return as a small package and the shipping charge with tracking is $4.70. If larger, I will return in a Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope, and the shipping charge with tracking is $8.95PLEASE ADVISE BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT AS TO WHETHER YOU WILL BE SENDING SCANS OR THE ACTUAL LETTERS, SO THAT I CAN ADJUST THE SHIPPING CHARGES ON YOUR INVOICE.
