This week is a bit of a departure from my usual offerings of tinplate toy cars. While going through my storage I came across a large box of plastic, rubber and die cast cars, trucks and airplanes. An interesting and unique selection of plastic and rubber cars will be up for sale this week.Here is a 6.5" plastic clockwork wind up powered 1947 Buck Roadmaster made by Triang Minic of England in the late 1940s. The car is finished as a police car. It is very clean and with exception of missing siren on roof, all parts are intact including original key. Factory box is an added bonus. The plastic body is smooth as glass with no cracks or breaks. Metal trim is all intact but does show typical age tarnish. Rubber tires are all flawless with no cracks, breaks or shrinkage. Wind up motor runs long, strong and smooth. Colorful box has magnificent graphics with a different scene on either side. Box is clean and complete with all flaps intact and no repair. Old hand written price can be seen on one end. Moderate storage wear can be seen. No offending odors. A rarely seen Triang carwith a low, low starting offer and ........as always.
