Gorgeous pink and white roses fill these antique Haviland plates. Realistic detailing. Raised white enamel accents on one plate.
Both signed by the same artist - Franz Bischoff - a known American artist famous for his beautiful paintings on porcelain, floral paintings and California landscapes.
Older green H & Co L France mark on bottom. I believe this is Mark "H" - used by Haviland & Co. from 1888 to 1896.
Whiteware pattern is Ranson
Measure 8 1/2" across
On the plate with two light pink roses, I see some extra spots of dark paint along rim edge. This same plate has a 1" hairline coming in from rim edge. The other plate has a tiny spot of roughness along rim edge. I have marked these spots with red arrows in the photos - they are minor, but want to point out for accuracy in listing. Otherwise, no chips, cracks or glaze crazing found. Surfaces are in great vintage condition.
