Two Vintage Weller Flower Frogs

Two charming art pottery frogs. Neither are marked, but the Butterfly frog is very similar to the Weller butteflies on page 119 of The Collector\'s Encyclopedia of Weller Pottery by Sharon and Bob Huxford with roses similar to those on the Flemish patterned ware. Butterfly frog is about 4 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches high. The second frog in pink and green is probably in the Weller Marvo pattern, as it looks very similar to the frog in the console bowl illustrated on page 253 with flowers and fronds. There are no chips or cracks that I can see on either frog. .
