By now the originalfeet have deteriorated and no longer serve the purpose they once had. After more than 85 years,these feet will have flattened down and no longer grip the work surface. Many times the screw that mounts them to the typewriter protrudes from the flattened rubber and will damage (scratch)the desk it\'s sitting on. When we refurbish an AntiqueRoyal typewriter in our shop, we always replace these feet! And they make your typewriter look good too! A screwdriver is the only tool necessary to replace them.
