Good condition and guaranteed original US Army Krag CavalryCarbine scabbard. Maker marked “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL” and dated 1904 withinspector initials. Unit marked to the 14th Cavalry Regiment. Thisunit served in the Philippines from 1903-06 against the insurgency. Leather issupple with some wear and cracking. Stitching shows some slipping along thebarrel area, otherwise tight.
