Rare and exciting Spanish American War EGA that justsurfaced out of the woodwork. EGA is attributed to aMarine that served in two of the most storied and awesome campaigns in Marinehistory having served and fought in the Boxer Rebellion in China and participatingin the siege of Tientsin and relief of Peking, as well as part of Maj LittletonWaller’s battalion that served on the island of Samar (one of 300 Marines). Attributed to items owned by Alfred E Norton. EGA is earlier and rare with prong back configuration (prongs are missing). The postbacked versions are much easier to find, yet rare to find themselves. Super hard to find attributed and early EGA.
