It has a beautiful shape and have been made by one of the most famous Persian silversmiths. The candlesticks have been hand chased with some of the finest work I have ever come across.The candlestick has been signed (not hallmarked) by Biryaei Brothers. The Biryaei brothers were very well known silversmiths.It has beautiful floral motifs and arabesque patterns. This is without a doubt, one of the finest and most detailed silver candlesticks I have sold. It has been beautifully hand chased with very crisp, clean work of the finest quality.

It has been tested and is guaranteed to be solid silver of high purity 875 grade. It has been hallmarked with the numbers 84 and also have been hallmarked with the maker\'s name - \"Biryaei Brothers\" The 84 hallmark represents silver purity of 87.5%. It was introduced into Persia by the Soviet Union (Russians) in the early 1900\'s.
