Hingeis in perfect condition & as you can see from the detailed pictures condition is superb throughout with no dinks, dents or repairs at all.
The box isbeautifullyshaped with top quality scroll engraving all over & a plain shaped cartouche to the lid with a beautifully engraved inscription which reads as follows: Presented to A. Mc Donald, As A Token Of Respect, The Workmen Employed in The Locomotive Department of TheShrewsbury & Chester Railway, September 30th 1854.
Made from particularly heavy gauge sterling silver to the very highest standard as you would expect from this top maker.
