Up for sale is this very old Siebe GormanThe helmet is very old - the \"SIEBE GORMAN PATENT\" is stamped: All earlier Siebe Gorman helmets from 1870 to 1905 did not have name tags, but the name was stamped into the breastplate.by this particular style of stamp, it was made around 1880 to 1905.For more info about the stamp and estimated manufacture year, please look at diving heritage -
I\'v attached 12 pictures of the helmet - the maximum approve. However, I have around 10 more pictures so please do not hesitate to ask for them.condition of the helmet - used condition. Understandable giving the fact that it is 110 years old or more and its purpose was to work under rough conditions.There are some dings ,dents and some repairs.
The helmet\'s breastplate and corselet are not matching numbers :breastplate: 4140 (a picture is attached).corselet: 8011(a picture is attached).Also, the front window is engraved with the number 10662 (a picture is attached) .3 windows, 12 bolts.The Four breastplate straps are all numbered with the Serial Number - 4011 (a picture is attached).The corselet and breastplate can be separated very easily.Bought this helmet in 2006 for my private diving helmets collection.
