This sale is for a VERY RARE tin lithographed friction powered Martian Flying Saucer \"Red Man From Mars\" space ship made in Japan by T.N. Nomura with the ORIGINAL box! This tin toy is all original with: near perfect plastic dome, 3D tin Red Man Martian pilot seated in drivers seat, 6 gel sparking windows on the rear, two awesome tail fins, tons of lithographing, original wheels and more. This toy is most notable for its distinctive illustrated box and spinning astronaut pilot. The full bodiedMartian Alienis unique as most saucers pilots are merely heads or half torsos protruding above the control panel - during operation the pilot spins in place atop his pinwheel disk of colors! The toy is also known as the \"Red Man from Mars\" as it is lithographed on the bottom of the saucer. The lithographing includes, forward lights, 33 blue circles on the outside of the ship - four portal windows, Z-01 on front and detailed pilot. The original dome - base has a spot with tape residue and a minor crack - these domes are super thin and oftencompletelymissing!!!

This is the perhaps the only flying saucer that is piloted by an Alien - \"The Red Man From Mars\" - very cool and tied into the box artwork with the Mars surface! All other UFO - Flying Saucers space ships might depict an astronaut from Earth - but the idea of a space toy with a real Alien was not very common for tin toys.

This tin space toy was tested and WORKS - when activated the Red Man from Mars has KILLER sound andSPARKSemanatingfrom the rear red gels, friction motor is strong and carries the saucer on his projected flight path. This toy works 100% and is out of this world unique and fantastic design overall!!!

The ORIGINAL box and paper insert for this toy has unique graphics of the Martian Flying Saucer on a orange surface with a planet and space city in the background. The box has vibrant colors, with one tiny punctureprofessionallyrepaired to back of arm - very difficult to see! The box is fantastic condition overall - about as good as they ever come!!
