Victor II made for the Europeanmarket and sold in France

This VictorII was made for the European market with a rear decal speaking to its origin inFrance and as such does not have a data-plate with serial number, which was thepractice at that time. This version has a filigree pattern trim andnickel-plated rear support arms instead of the black arms found in NorthAmerica. This difference added significantly to how well these Victor IImachines showed in the living rooms of pre-war Europe.

This machine has been meticulously cleaned, retaining its original finish.The motor has been cleaned and re-greased and runs smoothly, retaining 78rpm through an entire record, and sounds great with a rebuilt Exhibitionreproducer. The turntable felt is new, as is the 19 inch horn fromWyatt’s Musical Americana in California.
