Here is a pair of civil war era cream leather shoes. They are very discolored and dirty looking with gray discoloration all over especially toes, heels and back of shoes.
They have a silk pom pom ( very small tears to edges) on the top with back ties. One is silk an one is cotton so one has been replaced. Silk tie is coming off and cotton one is twisted and has brownish stains. Back of heels shows scrapes and gouges. Leather is not dried out. They measure 9 1/2 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide across sole, heel is about 1 1/2 inches high.
