International buyers, please note that the E Bay international shipping calculator is not correct and calculates shipping at a higher rate than we actually charge. Please email for a shipping quote.

Please look at all the pictures below the listing. There may be many and often times the scrolling gallery only shows a few. We consider them part of our description and ask buyers to look before placing a offer. When offerding using the one click offer understand that your offer only increases one increment and not the total of the amount you have offer. buyers have told us that they lost an sale using the one click offer.

Up for sale is a Victorian tea caddy or biscuit box by Pairpoint Mfg. Co., in Quadruple Plate. The box features excellent oriental / East Lake details. The samurai is holding a fan and the back of the fan features a junket or sailing boat from the period. Quite extraordinary. The box was manufactured using both the traditional shiny silver plate and an all over etched design giving an excellent contrast to the design. The box stands about 6.5 inches tall to the top of the finial, 4 inches tall to the rim, 5.5 inches from left to right and 4.5 from front to back. Overall the box is in good condition for its age. There are no monograms or visible repairs. There is a slot on either side of the inside of the box which indicates that there would have been a partition which in no longer there. I will post a picture in the form of a question on the base of the listing. There is an inscription on the inside of the cover which reads LMFC July 24,94. We assume the 94 represents 1894 . There is wear as shown in the pictures.

E Bay has a 5 star seller rating system that allows buyers to grade sellers on shipping. The question does not refer to how you feel about the post office rates but rather did I over charge you, the customer. We do not determine postal rates though I wish we could and many times we pay the extra shipping charges to get the item to the customer faster. We combine shipping when ever possible but there may be reasons why items can\'t be combined such as fragile items and heavy objects.

All sales are final unless item is not as described by misrepresentation. We supply enough pictures so that the buyer can make a decision as to the purchase of the piece. We will supply additional information and pictures if the buyer requests such. We do not believe in Buyers or Sellers Remorse. If we sell an item for less than worth we will still ship as part of our agreement but if you purchase an item we expect you to live up to your part of the bargain. Please ask questions. We will gladly answer.
