Up for sale is the flight jacket of Major General Cross. This is the jacket he used while flying 67 missions in the Republic of Vietnam. This ishis bioinfo for that time period:

In December 1971 General Cross was transferred to the Republic of Vietnam where he served as assistant deputy chief of staff, operations, Seventh Air Force, in June 1972 was assigned additional duties as chief, air operations, Military Assistance Command Vietnam. During this period, he flew 67 combat missions in North and South Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

This is a size large L-2B USAF Flying Jacket dated 1970. It has his leather name badge and silver stars on the shoulders. The cuffs and the collar have some holes in the knit. The zipper and snaps are in good working condition. The jacket has not been cleaned and has some dirt from storage. It is a historic piece not to be missed. It measures 22\" armpit to armpit, 25\" shoulder seam to cuff, 20\" shoulder seam to shoulder seam and 27\" top of collar down the back. It is not to be missed.
