Gold Plated and Engraved Trumpet manufactured by Frank Holton & Co, Elkhorn, Wis. Serial number 35626 identifies 1916 as year of production. Trumpet is complete and fully functional; in fact, my brothers and I used it in high school bands. The lead pipe is bent downwards and the bell is no longer straight. The gold plating is tarnished but has never been polished while in our family\'s ownership since the 1950\'s. The valves function without sticking. The original mouthpiece and sheet music holder, both gold plated and marked Frank Holton, are included. The trumpet will be shipped with its original pre-WWI case which includes its Frank Holton & Co, Elkhorn, Wis, \"makers of high grade band instruments\" badge. Husky not included.
