This is a cute vintage doll made by Ideal Toy Corp in the 1930s

 

 

Marked on head 12 Ideal Doll Made in USA, it measures about 18\" tall and has a composition head, arms and legs, cloth body, painted and molded on brown curly hair, and brown metal sleep eyes which \"flirt\" back and forth inside his head, as well as an open mouth with 2 upper teeth and a felt tongue

 

 

The doll comes dressed as a boy, in a very nice wool outfit which is not original, but very well done and in great condition, with no holes, stains or damage

 

 

The doll has crazing and lifting to the compo but no chipped fingers or toes and still displays very nicely

 

 

He is clean, odor free and comes from a smoke-free home
