A large heavy 1950 era porcelain metal Prestone Anti-Freeze thermometer. Measures 36 inches tall and 9 inches wide. Has two original mounting holes. I\'ve tested the thermometer and it is in perfect working order. The glass bulb has never been replaced. The porcelain has not been cleaned or waxed and is bright shiny with original gloss. No fading of colors and no dents. Thermometer lays flat. Porcelain has light scrapes and nics on the very top lip. Very light wear around mounting holes. Please look closely at pictures. A beautiful display porcelain thermometer. National Caroffere sold their first can of Prestone in 1927. In 1998, Allied Signal acquires the Prestone Auto Group which included Fram Filters and Autolite Spark Plugs. Shipping will be 20.00 to the lower 48 states.
