Original, Vintage 1950s Masudaya Space Vehicle with Floating Satellite Battery Operated Toy & Box Made in Japan...This rare space toy is all original,complete including satellite and in near mint condition with bright glossy litho...The battery compartment isclean and free of rust and corrosion...It works great and when turned on, the space vehicle can sit still and only have the floating satellite hover above or it can travel about with mystery bump and go action while the satellite floats above the vehicle...The floating device has warped a bit over the years and is uneven...The floating mechanism works faintly and needs adjustment...The red and green lights flash off & on while moving.(red bulb is not lighting)...Toy is 8.25 incheslong...It features a detailed colorful tin litho body with clear plastic cockpit domecover, flashing lights and multiple complex actions...The Modern Toys(Masudaya) Trade Mark and Made in Japan are printed on the bottom of the toy and on the box top...The scarce illustrated box is original and complete...It displays wonderfully with the toy and features outstanding space theme graphics.
