This is a beautiful vintage Nancy Ann Style Show doll from the 1950s



She is unmarked, measures 17\"-18\" tall and is made of hard plastic, with tosca or strawberry blonde hair and blue sleep eyes with painted lower lashes; she comes in her original pale pink taffeta gown with tulle overlay and waist ribbon, undies, hoop petticoat skirt, stockings and center snap shoes




Her gown is not tagged but has the round, solid snaps indicative of Nancy Ann and is in excellent condition except for the tulle overlay, which is extremely dry, fragile and shredding to the touch, with a torn and frayed shoulder strap (it needs to be completely replaced); the attached pale pink taffeta gown underneath has one small spot but is in excellent condition otherwise, crisp, bright and clean and the hair flowers are in very good condition, with just a little discoloration




The doll is nicely strung and poses well without looseness and has a powdery, bisque-like complexion, with high color cheeks that have no rubs, scuffs or scratches, clear eyes with all her lashes, and even still has the pink blush on the backs of her hands and knees



She does have that hard plastic smell to her, as is so common with these dolls over time
