VINTAGE 1954 SLW ALEXANDER KINS DOLL \"QUEEN ELIZABETH\" MADE BY MADAME ALEXANDER
Price: US $35.55
Here today for your consideration is a darling vintage tagged SLW Alexander Kins Queen Elizabeth doll made by Madame Alexander in 1954. Please note: The cape and crown are not original to the dolls Madame Alexander Me and My Shadow Series Queen Elizabeth outfit of 1954, but they are being included because when I purchased her wearing the gown, bloomers and shoes, there were many other Alexander kins and Ginny doll items in the box, they are homemade and in poor condition. The straight leg walker Queen kins doll, her beautiful gown, bloomers and shoes are all original to the Me and My Shadow Series Queen Elizabeth from 1954. The Queen doll is absolutely adorable to display but she does have a couple of issues that I will try an describe as I see them. Her legs are extremely loose so I have them bound with a rubber band to ensure they do not become more loose. You don\'t see the rubber band under her bloomers and she is still able to stand and pose on her own just fine. The other issue is her face that has some dirt and a small amount of light orangey marks on one side near her hair line that look as if it may have come from her red wig. I have not tried to clean her so Im uncertain if it can be removed or not. That side of her wig has slightly come unglued, but it still stays in place just fine. I believe I have described her issues. The Queen has a beautiful uncombed original red curly 3 row stitched wig that is in excellent condition, (with the exception of the above and some, what looks like, light display dust). She has great open and close eyes with molded lashes and vivid painted lower lashes, great painted eyebrows, and the sweetest red painted lips. She still has some of her blush on her cheeks. Her beautiful Queens tagged gown is in excellent condition with no stains, no tears, no unwanted marks and no fading. The fabric is a gorgeous ivory brocade that has a longer train in the back, a pale lavender ribbon sash with a red jeweled medallion attached to the front of her dress with 4 tiny little faux pearls at the shoulder and waist. I believe she is wearing her original bloomers and gold slippers with fuzzy bottoms. Hopefully someday her original cape and crown will surface to complete her darling Queens outfit. She is a very beautiful vintage Madame Alexander kins doll that displays so cute. Thanks for taking a look and God Bless.
