The photos were taken under very bright light and against a brick wall, and these conditions didn\'t benefit much the looks of the jacket for these pics. It looks a bit better than our pics show.But it is a very well used jacket, having as its best defense the fact that it is a difficult size to find for military clothing of that era: it is a size 42, men\'s large, and so it is marked on the brown side of the jacket (check close-up).
Please notice as well that the pockets on the green side are not of the exact same color than the body of the jacket. We have no idea why, but please check the photos. The pockets are the original ones, we can not see any indication of them having been switched (the original ones for these not-matching ones). It is possible they simply faded more than the body.
The jacket has two large pockets on the chest with vertical openings and snap closures.
The metal buttons clearly state this is United States Marines garment.
Actual measurements are: 25\" across the chest, pit to pit; 25\" from shoulder seam to edge of cuff; 19\" shoulder to shoulder across the front of the jacket; 28 1/2\" from collar seam to hem along the back.
