A beautifully preserved example of c1920\'s plywood jigsaw puzzle from one of Britain\'s finest manufacturers, Raphael Tuck & Sons, from their \"Zag-Zaw\" range and which features a very colourful painting by the British artist Edward J. Duval (1876-1916), entitled \"Golden Autumn\".This is a 600 piece puzzle measuring 20 1/4\" x 15 1/4\", cut in the non-interlocking or push-fit style and incorporating 96 of Tuck\'s special figural shapes, or \"whimsies\". I have taken some pictures to demonstrate the amazing cutting style employed by Tuck\'s, which includes one showing it as sixteen similarly proportioned sections, each of which contains six figure shapes. The puzzle is in near perfect condition and comes with its original red box with lift-off lid and no guide picture. This is also in incredibly well-preserved order, aside from two repaired lid-corner seams.
