This is a lovely vintage Victorian/Edwardian dress hat. The body of this hat is fashioned from a black velvety material. The body appears to be in good condition. Thebrim is surrounded by ostrich feathers. The beige-colored ostrich feather at the front of the hat appears tobemissing its top half. The satin rosebud garland is very pretty, though it is a bit worn. This hat is lined. The lining is gathered at its center. The thread holding the gather has come loose. This is a quick and easyfix.This hat could use a gentle cleaning. I will leave that to those of you who are experts inthis area.
