This is a very unique item. These shakers were sold by Breslauer-Underberg, 225 Fifth Ave NY, NY. Made by Frederick Buehner who emigrated from Germany in 1929. He developed a unique formula for using hammered aluminum; the name Buenilum is a combination of Buehner and Aluminum. It is approximately 11\" tall. C. 1947. Pictured and described on page 197 of Stephen Visakay\'s Book, \"Vintage Bar Ware\". There is some scratching at the top that may polish out....I have not tried. Also needs a good internal cleaning...I have only used soap and water at this point. Please examine the photos as they are the best description.
