This fabulous fly tying/makers vice is in \"as found\" condition and has not been repaired or restored.The vice has a solid brass clamp with a steel hook, shaft and jaws.The brass clamp works fine, winding up and down smoothly, as do the hinged jaws, these being adjusted by a wing bolt. The hook is well attached and study.There are no cracks or chips to the vice or clamp, however, it does have the usual marks and scuffs that you would expect from a well used item of this age. I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.The vice measures 16.5 cm (6 1/2 inches) in length, excluding the bottom wing bolt.This is a fabulous piece of fishing history and could still a very usable item today. This fabulous fly tying/makers vice is in \"as found\" condition and has not been repaired or restored.

The vice has a solid brass clamp with a steel hook, shaft and jaws.

The brass clamp works fine, winding up and down smoothly, as do the hinged jaws, these being adjusted by a wing bolt. The hook is well attached and study.
