Shown here from a Detroitestate is a wonderful, STERLING SILVER, souvenir spoon with a heart-shaped bowl. This spoon haslovely detail with \"DAR\" (Daughters Of The American Revolution) in the bowl and were first presented in 1895to women whose fathers had fought in the American Revolution. The front of the handle has a woman working at a spinning wheel with 13 stars around her and a banner that says \"Home & Country\". This measures 6\" long and the back of the handle has an eagle holding an olive branch. Back is marked \"J.E. Caldwell & Co., Sterling\". Great condition withnormal wear from age. Alovely pieceto display with great history. Thanks for looking.
