Here is this very beautiful vintage carved and pierced jade brooch , it weighs 10 grams and it measures just over 1 5/8 inches across at its widest point . This is a beautiful jade carving pierced with a beautiful floral design , I believe this piece of jade to be much older than the brooch itself as it is set in some sort of jeweler\'s brass with a open filigree work on the back and a good sturdy gold filled enclosure that is much newer than the brooch itself .
