Nicely carved American Patriotic wooden Eagle holding an American red/white/blue shield. Some might call it Bellamy Style. It is all original. Probably carved 1930\'s to 1940\'s. The paint is in great condition and appears all original. This carved wooden Eagle is approximately 12\" in height (tip of tail to upright tips of the wings). It is approximately 13.5\" inches wide at its widest point.
Hand carved and painted. No evidence of glue or repair. It shows a few cracks, as would be expected, from the wood expansion / contraction / drying over many years. But in truly great condition for its material and age. Please examine close up pictures. Would look great on a mantle place or above a door frame.
