Vintage Ceramic Griesedieck Beer St Louis Cardinals Baseball Glove AshtrayA promotional giveaway for Griesedieck Beer related to the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. I could find only three instances of this unique item available on in the last eleven years. The information found suggests this was made in the 1940s or 1950s. The glove measures close to 5 inches across from the thumb to the little finger and weighs 7.5 ounces. It has some small glaze chips showing in the the webbing of the glove and a glaze chip on the middle finger showing in the last photo. There is also a chip showing on the edge of the webbing in the last photo. The marks on the outside of the glove in picture 2 are a result of the firing process and stilts to hold up the ashtray.Message on the glove states: Thumb - FOLLOW CARDINAL GAMES WITH Palm - Griesedieck Bros.
