VINTAGE CLEO COLA BOTTLE IN GREEN GLASS WITH A PAINTED LABEL IN RED AND WHITE SHOWING EXOTIC NUDE CLEO AND WITH COOL, STYLIZED LETTERING, MARKED OMAHA, NEBR. ON BACK, STAMPED ON THE BOTTOM. 9-1/2\" TALL AND 2-1/2\" WIDE.
DESCRIPTION: This is a vintage soda bottle of Cleo Cola in a green bottle with a painted lable in red and white. An exotic Cleo sits harem-style with an elaborate headdress, Queen of Sparkling Drinks, and the logo lettering is stylized Egyptian-like. The back label is in white paint with the 12. Fl. Ounces and \"Genuine\" in script, Omaha, Nebr. is the abbreviation. The front reads Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Copy Right 1935, and Bottled Under License Issued by Cleo Syrup Corp. St. Louis, Mo. The back legend reads This Bottle Sealed With Cleo Cola Crown Contains 12 FL. Ounces Genuine Cleo Cola, Omaha, Nebr. The bottom of the bottle has a raised mark that looks like an oval with a peaked shape around it, and a 1 (?) inside it, then 3, 7, and 4 around that, and G76 at the bottom. It\'s in very good condition with very little marking or scratching of the paint. The bottle does have a seam, I guess that\'s normal, and I see a couple tiny bubbles in the glass. On the front there are a couple specks, I can feel them, but I don\'t know if these were bubbles at the surface, because the glass is not cracked at all. The top and lip are smooth, no abrasions found at all. I did not wash this bottle, so it does not sparkle, and it looks like there may be a watermark, or just a bit dusty inside. MEASUREMENTS:
It stands 9-1/2\" high, is 2-1/2\" across the bottom, and 1\" across the top lip.
CONDITION: It\'s in very nice condition for an old bottle; the paint is all intact with the barest of markings, no chip-outs in the paint. Sold As/Is.
