Vintage Convair B-36 Bomber Airplane Yonezawa Japan Tin Litho Friction Toy
Offered is anice vintage Convair B-36 Bomber Tin Litho Friction Toy Airplane.
It is made by Yonezawa, Japan and has their mark of a Y within a cherry blossom.
It measures19 inchesmeasuring nose to tail and has a wingspan of 26 inches. This is the largest toy airplane made by Yonezawa.
It isin goodcondition but is not perfect and has some wear and tear. Be sure to look at each of the photos to help you determine the level of condition. There is some rust and there are scuff marks. On the bottom rear of the plane the wheel bracket and wheel has been replaced. Nuts and bolts on the bottom have been replaced. There is a red plastic tip on the very end of theplane on the vertical stabilizer which is missing. On either wing there are what I believe are the jet pods and there are little red tabs which are broken off or missing. There are scuff marks on the bubble canopy. I think I pointed out all the wear and tear, but be sure to take your time and check everything carefully to make your buying decision. When the friction wheels turn the props on the engines do spin. Overall, it is still in pretty good shape and appearance.I have included several photosso you can see all the details. Please use the photos which can be enlarged to see all the details. Thank You.
Production of this airplane was for only a two year period so they are a more hard to find toy.Someone else sold the same airplane and shipped the plane removing the nut on the wings on it can be shipped more economically and I will do the same. You will just need to re-assemble when you receive the package.Please message me through the item with any questions.
