I have not cleaned this rug at all. It wouldbenefitfrom a professional cleaning. The tufts around the edges of the rug look a little dingy. I noted no offensive odors or stains, but it does smell and feel dusty. I don\'t know the rug\'shistory, but I noted no pet hair on the rug. I do have a dog, so it may have picked up some fur from the rug\'s short time in my home.
