This is a 12 1/2\" tall railroad lantern that is being sold in the condition it was found. The lantern is marked on the top \"ADLAKE\" THE ADAMS & WESTLAKE COMPANY- CHICAGO. Thecenter of the capis marked D.L. & N.W. R.R. and marked on the bottom rim PATT. SEPT. 21, 1897 MAY 5, 1908, 3-PATS. JAN. 26, 1909. This lantern is very dirty, it was found in an old barn and I left it just as it was. The glass is just a clear plain globe that is cracked. I thought that maybe someone would want the lantern to go in a collection. Offered with and sold as is.
