RUSTY Red Thick Pile

This is an antiqueDutch tablecloth, made in Holland around 1930- 50. It ha a thickplush velvet mad from wool with a cotton backing. Made with a Persianinfluence design, they were made to imitate the Persian carpets, fromthe 18th century, when they would treasure them and placethem on the table, famous in Dutch Paintings. This rusty red textilecan be used as a tablecloth or decorative wall tapestry, not for thefloor.

In fair condition,it has some thin spots, 6 tiny spots where there is no plush. Veryhard to see. Overall good look. It measures 66 x 52 inches, andweighs about 2 kilos.

It has even colour throughout, the light on the plush pile giving it a difference.
