Upfor sale is a vintage Kool Filter Kings Cigarettes advertising sign /thermometer from the early 1960s. It’sdefinitely from before 1966 because there is no Surgeon General’s warning. It is a bright green color and measures 12inches tall and about 4 inches across.

Itis virtually mint in box. The paint isnearly perfect, apart from wear directly above the thermometer and a few smallspots at the bottom. The colors aregorgeous, vivid, and utterly unfaded.

I’mnot sure what happened to the mercury.It seems to have separated with some stuck at the top while the rest isat the bottom. The bottom portion of themercury does rise when the temperature does but obviously it won’t give you thecorrect temperature. I think this was afactory flaw and that’s why it was kept in its box and not used.

My home is both smoke-free and cat-free. (There is a dog but she’s not allowed nearthe products.) I’ve done my best toreport everything accurately.
