From My Personal Collection at is this vintage Gold & Mother-of-Pearl Overlay eyedropper fountain pen from 1890-1910. Wonderful Art Nouveau chased designs in the Gold Filled cap overlay and barrel bands, with wonderfully iridescent pearl panels! Excellent 14K solid gold nib with semi-flexible tines. The pen measures 5 3/8\" (138mm) capped. A very collectible early model! The high grade gold filled overlay is bright and clean. The pen has no dents, chips, cracks or monograms! What few minor pings might be found hide very well in the elaborate chasing, and are only found on very close inspection. Surface area is clean, very glossy (photos may show some lint on pen from the buffing cloth, reflections, glares and/or shadows)! This fountain pen is clean and ready for ink! The 14K solid gold nib reads: JOHN HOLLAND - CIN.O - No. 2. Solid gold nib is a Medium-Broad tipped nib, Semi-Flexible tines, with tines aligned and good tipping material. The pen has been flushed and tested for leaks. Feed system has been cleaned and serviced. This pen will arrive ready for your favorite ink! Certainly gift and/or investment quality.
