VINTAGE FLEMING SILVER INLAY SPADE BIT

Here we have a nice old Fleming Spadebit. It has silver inlayed Santa SusannaPattern Cheek Pieces with a short broad spade or Ancho mouth piece. The silver is on good solid shape. The only issue this bit has is that thecopper wrap on the left brace is been worn off where the brace meets the spade(see pictures). Other than that it is ingreat shape. The cheeks are 7 ½” with 2 ½”purchase. Mouth piece is 5”.
It is an older Fleming (see smallermark). Dick Fleming made bits from 1944to 1978…and this one is from that era.
