Lovely length of vintage French damask ticking in a beautiful floral roses pattern. Gorgeous hue of blue which is best seen in the first 2 photos on my monitor. A sort of sky blue that in certain lighting has almost a soft hyacinth blue cast to it. Very pretty color of blue. This is primarily cotton with some linen. Denser, softer bodied and looks lovely on it\'s reverse side as well. Circa is about the 1940\'s.Perfect for an abundance of projects, pillows and period projects; small upholstery (chair back, stool etc..), bags/totes if lined, holiday stockings etc..Pieces like this are also excellent used at the either end of a pillow design using a contrasting fabric in the center or even an antique/vintage monogrammed/embroidered piece in the center. They mix beautifully with other French textiles/linen laces & trims and also look lovely intermixed with other damasks.Condition is good and strong and very nice for it\'s age. Color is lovely & a bit softened by time. Possibly utilized in the past as most of these were utilitarian.Measures 28-29\" wide by a half yard long ~ I have 3 remaining & I can keep as many as a quantity of \"2\" ( up to 1 yard long by 28-29\" wide) in one length.
