GORGEOUS ~ truly wonderful fabric!! This fabric is a Vintage French fabric date dates c1900-1910. A wonderful and very rare damask weave cotton, with printed floral design! ! ~ spectacular !! ~~ This fabric has the most wonderful woven floral damask design in the cotton and is printed on top!~ LOVELY gentle tones!!! The surface has a slight sheen. This length has pale age marks throughout the length , so ideal for aged , vintage projects, however this length is not suitable for anyone that requires a perfect , consistently toned ground ( please see condition ) ~*~ The ground is a pale sky blue and the other colors include: Greens, pinks, blues, sand, cream, off-white, pale pale mauve, peachy terracotta . Both selvages are intact on this length and the printing extends to the side edges~ This is an unused length!! ~ ( please see condition below) This fabric is a medium to heavy weight , 100% cotton , ideal for upholstery, pillows, curtains, and many many other wonderful projects! ~ (Length FOUR)

MEASUREMENTS : I am selling this fabric by the panel length, so each purchase is for a length that measures 32 inches wide by 50 inches long ~ should you wish to purchase further lengths, simply change the quantity button. EG, should you wish to purchase a length that measures 33 inches wide by 100 inches long, simply change the quantity button to 2 ~

CONDITION : This lovely fabric is in as found unwashed condition with light storage dust. There are some small pale marks on the length, throughout the length. The bottom section is more heavily marked than the top. They marks are pale, however I believe they will become paler when washed, but not fully disappear! So, this fabric is only suitable for projects which can take an aged ground ~*~ Lovely lovely fabric, ideal for vintage , period projects ~*~

Please email me if condition is vital to your purchase and we can discuss condition in detail. When describing my textiles, I use my best judgment, knowledge and experience to estimate their age. I have had many years of research and hands on experience with these wonderful textiles. I describe items as Antique if I estimate the age to be 100 years of age or greater. currently define an antique as dating to 1930 or earlier. I describe items as Vintage, as per the dictionary definition, if I feel the textile has age, or is outdated or old-fashioned, dating from the past. If I use both Antique/Vintage when describing a textile, it is because I feel the textile is most likely 100 years of age or greater, but may fall just short of that date. I often work in collaboration with other colleagues and textile specialists to ascertain the approximate age of my textiles, however ultimately any statement of age is a matter of best judgment only~*~I also use my best professional judgment to ascertain the fiber content of my textiles, using sight and feel and where possible historical information and context to help me to identify plants used in a particular era.
