VINTAGE RED & WHITE BASKET QUILT
This quilt is most likely from the 1940\'s or 1950\'s. The material used is all cotton and the batting is thin, and has shifted some. It\'s machine pieced & hand quilted with the quilt stitches about 6 - 8 per inch. The handles on the baskets are hand appliqued.
We just got it recently at an estate sale that had clean merchandise. It has no off-odors. I didn\'t wash it, but it smells clean.
The only issue I saw was a brown ring stain near the pillow end corner (see picture 3).
Overall it\'s still a very attractive quilt, entirely hand quilted. The binding is machine stitched.
The size is approximately 86\" x 82\".
