This King trumpet has been in my family since the early 1930\'s. I had previously listed it as an artist series trumpet, but that is not correct! It is a standard trumpet. The King web site shows a 1925 date of manufacture for the #78389 serial number, and I have no idea about any owners previous to my family. It has a several small dings in the small tube at the end of the bell as it turns back to the valves. It also appears to have a well done patch close to the mouth piece and I have attempted to show all these things in the pictures. I have learned that the extensive engraving of a woman was a order option among several that were available for extra cost at the time. The engraving is still sharp on the entire instrument. I have attempted to show all the engraving in the pictures. All valves work very smoothly, and all parts come apart with out any effort and seems to play well and sound great but I am not a musician. The no. 2 valve U tube id. is .450\". It has a E-Z Tone mouth pc., and comes in a C.C. Conn Ltd. hard case and I do not know if it is the original case.
