This is a vintage applique quilt top kit by Lee Wards of Elgin, Ill.

The top measures 93" L x 77" W.

There is no pattern name given for this quiltthough it ismarked on the instruction sheet and the quilt top itself, No.8-9031.The topshows a central bouquet of roses with a pink bow and twining ribbons. Each corner has a similar, smaller bouquet with ribbons. There is a beautiful quilting design forming roses against a square grid extending out in radiating straight lines. Quilting design mimics the appliqued rosepattern. All quilting lines and applique placements are clearly marked.

This top is to be appliqued in beautiful shades of violet, lavender, purple, wine red, rose, pink, light pink and two shades of green.

Green seam tape is included for stems. The six skeins of embroidery floss required for the embroidery are not included but color numbers are given.

Applique fabric is included. Appliques are clearly marked with the exception of one 7" x13" piece of dark green fabric that shows discoloration and loss of applique markings on about two-thirds of the piece.The last picture shows this piece. A small piece of fabric, itcould easily be replaced.

Top is in very good condition....just some spots of foxing and faint yellowing along fold lines and the side of thetop that faced out while in storage.

This will make agorgeous quilt when completed....perfect for church raffles, fund raisers or for your own pleasure.
