These are the real deal- Vintage Levi 501 Big E Buckle back size 30 x 32. In the pictures you can see the \"redline\" selvage. The Levi\'s tag is printed in uppercase letters on one side of the tag only. They are \"double x\" and have hidden rivets in the back pockets. The rivets are copper with the raised letters \"L.S. & CO - S.F.-\". The leather patch has the shriveled \"beef jerky\" appearance of an authentic Levi\'s tag. This is a rare \"buckle back\" pair. We are guessing they are from the 50\'s based on this evidence.
As you can see, these jeans were well loved and show average signs of weathering for a pair as old as this. (Which is actually great, considering modern fashion is always trying to replicate this look artificially) There have also been a few repairs where the pants may have torn or frayed; there are a few places that were carefully embroidered back together.
