It is in fair to good condition with some missing parts including the battery box cover, face visor and a piece of silver detail on one arm.It is in part-working condition – when switched on, the robot walks forward with sound, but is very unsteady – I think one of the legs may need attention. The firsttime I switched it on, the head also lit up, but itno longer lights. The battery box is clean and free from rust. Vintage Plastic Battery Operated Zero of Space (?) Robot,
Hong Kong, As Found.
A nice vintage plastic battery operated Zero of Space (?)
Robot toy, with walking action, sound and lighted head,
made in Hong Kong in the 1960\'s or 70\'s, in As
Found condition, suitable for spares or repair.
The Robot toy is 13 inches tall and is all plastic with
a pink (faded??+) body, face and feet, yellow arms
and legs and silver coloured detail on chest, arms
and legs. It is in fair to good condition with some
missing parts including the battery box cover,
face visor and a piece of silver detail on one arm.
It is in part-working condition – when switched on,
the robot walks forward with sound, but is very unsteady – I
think one of the legs may need attention. The first
time I switched it on, the head also lit up, but it
no longer lights. The battery box is clean
and free from rust. Marked with “Made
in Hong Kong” under the feet.
