You are viewing a vintage folding knife by Puma of Solingen Germany, which was founded in 1769. It is a large and heavy knife, designed for sport fishing; the hole in the blade being used as a fulcrum for weighing a fish and the heavy butt of the knife being a counter-weight for the scale. There is an inscribed patent number on the blade: 922214. I believe that the knife was made pre-1970. The handle appears to be nickel-plated and has an attractive diamond pattern grip. With the blade extended, the knife measures approximately 9 1\2 inches in length. It is in good condition with the spring to the blade still strong. Some minor wear, nicks and scratching to the handle. The blade is in very good condition with minor scratching where the blade has been opened and closed.
