This is a portable Remington typewriter. The keys are not glass and do contain wear. The typewriter keys push down but do not work. The space bar eky does move the paper roller. This had originally had a top cover but that is gone. This does contain wear but does not take away from the decorative nature of the piece. Great on a table or desk. I\'ve only wiped the surface of dust and that is it . This weighs over 9 pounds. It does for inside a large flat rate box so that is the way it will be shipped. This piece is purely decorative with scratches and blemishes on the case. The brand is worn off but still visible. Don\'t miss out on what could be a great piece.
