This lovely hinged dresser box is decorated in cobalt blue with a gold design and a romantic scene on the lid. The vintage box is marked RS in a red wreath and is not marked with the country of origin. The bottom rim that rests on the dresser shows signs of rubbing from age. Nit measures approximately 6 inches long, 5inches wide and 4 1/4 inches tall.

The bottom mark is suspect with it's lack of Germany or Prussia in the mark, but it does not match the reproduction marks that I found. Either way, it is high quality, beautiful, and I great condition. No chips, nicks, cracks, stains or crazing. Just very minor paint flaws.
