This is a vintage, original Standard Oil Crown Globe for a gas pump. It has never been repainted or touched up. My father-in-law (now deceased) purchased this this from a junk dealer in Missouri in the 70\'s, and displayed it in his home ever since. The paint is very nice and there are no cracks or breaks in the milk glass. There is an aluminum ring on the bottom, presumably for mounting. I took photos of the minor defects in the paint. I think this may have been New Old Stock, and if it was ever actually used on a gas pump, it must not have been for long. The condition is great. I will use the utmost care in packing and shipping.
