The piece is very well made in 940 silver andisby Hector Aguilarwho started workwith William Spratling in 1935 and opened his own workshop in 1939.
It is 0.9" wide, 7.25" long, weighs94 grams, 3.3 ounces andisin excellent condition withsome light scratches from typical wear and the pin closure and safetychain aresecure.
Itis marked on thereversewith Taxco 940, a grader higher than 925 sterling and the stylised Hector Aguilar mark with a hallmark dating it prior to 1962.
